As Chief Information Officer & Chief Transformation Officer at Lineage Logistics, Sudarsan Thattai is responsible for all facets of the company’s information technology. He and his team focus on optimizing technology to drive customer value, expand service capability and make a global impact. Previously, Sudarsan served as SVP of IT Services at UTi Worldwide and held technology leadership positions at Cisco Systems and DFS Group. He holds a Master’s degree in Management of IT from the University of Sunderland.

What is a piece of professional advice you received from an impactful leader that you can share with others?

You are never as good or as bad as someone makes you out to be – the truth is always somewhere in the middle. No matter what, be a positive leader and always put the mission before the ambition.

 

The Lineage family is close-knit, but there’s no place like home.

My wife, Kavita, and my son, Vidyuth, and I are passionate travelers and have been fortunate to live in beautiful places around the world like Singapore and Hong Kong. My son is also becoming a serious challenger on the golf course – I’m not sure how I feel about that!
